Children’s Brain Institute
Children’s Brain Institute was founded in Lexington, Massachusetts, to serve children with neurological, neurocognitive, and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Our main objectives are to provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to children and their families. Our state-of-the-art Neuroscience Research Center enables us to critically analyze challenging patients and develop biological questions to better understand the physiology, pathophysiology, molecular and genetic aspects of the disorders or syndromes encountered.
As we better understand the disease processes and normal development, we can focus on novel diagnostic and treatment modalities for patients. Hence, the institute will provide a system that will focus on treatment and devote a significant amount of resources to serve our community in disease prevention through translational research.
At Children’s Brain Institute, we believe each child with neurological, cognitive, and psychiatric disorders deserves immediate attention. And care is within the critical window of opportunity for appropriate treatment and healing to provide an opportunity to reach optimum brain function and capacity and to prevent delays in development.
As a token of our commitment to each and every child and their family, we promise to provide immediate expert neurological assessment and testing for each child. Our FANS (Fast Access Neurology Service) ensures a visit with an expert pediatric neurologist in our institution within 24 to 72 hours after their referral or initial contact with our institute.
